Zimmerman, Fort
Fort Zimmerman: 1776, Montgomery County, St. Johnsville. Fortified and palisaded dwelling of Conrad and David Zimmerman, near their gristmill on Zimmerman Creek. Located about a mile above Fort Nellis. Believed assaulted unsuccessfully a number of times by Tories and Indians.
