Original monthly lists of officers and enlisted men for each unit of the New York Guard, 1940-1946. These bound forms list the current monthly strength of the units (by names of individuals) plus any new enlistments and soldiers dropped from the unit. The New York Guard was formed as the state military force when New York National Guard units were activated for federal service at the beginning of World War II.
